Things to Remember During the Pandemic

Coming into 2020, we all had high hopes for the new year. Unfortunately, long lists of resolutions were unfulfilled and plans were put on hold. When the first quarantine was announced, it was expected to last for only fourteen days. Fourteen days later it was extended for another 2 weeks and got extended again and again and again.

Now we’re more than halfway through 2020 and still, the next months are uncertain. Will the quarantines be extended? Will it be over? What does over even mean?

We can’t just put our lives on hold and wait for the answers to these questions. We have to keep going. Our frontliners are. They’re risking themselves everyday. Businesses are. Business owners are staying as strong as they can for their employees and their employees’ families. But we can’t keep going and see this through without each other’s help. So, what can we do?

If it’s not urgent, do not go out. We have been hearing this since the pandemic started and we will definitely continue to hear this for a while because this is the smallest and easiest way we can help each other out. If you don’t have anything important to do, please refrain from going out and just stay at home. This way, you are protecting yourself and others.

If there really is a need to go out, be conscious and responsible. If you are the assigned person from the household who does the groceries and runs errands, be sure to be safe and well-protected. Start with the new staple in everyone’s OOTD, a face mask. If you’re wondering where to buy good-quality face masks, check out Smartieshirt. They have a wide variety of face mask designs that you could choose from. Plus, they are locally sewn and produced so you’re helping the local economy.

Another thing you should have and wear is a face shield. This may seem like too much of a hassle but this is for all of our sake. It’s an added protection for you and for the people around you. Better safe than sorry, right? You can find affordable and excellent face shields and other protective gears here at Philiprint. We are your one-stop shop for all protective gears. Bonus is, we can customize! If you need a company protective jacket or a face shield or face mask with your logo, we can do it for you!

  1. Buy Local

Lastly, help each other out by supporting our own. Buy fruits and vegetables from your local market, wear apparel from your local brands, share and support your friends or family who are business owners and are trying their best to survive.
By going out responsibly, safely, and only when necessary, we are helping reduce the spread of the virus. This means a lower number of cases and a greater chance at healing. Healing of the people and healing of the economy. Although we may never be able to go back to normal but at least we get to move forward.

3 Ways To Spice Up Sundays At Home

3 Ways To Spice Up Your Sundays At Home

Back when there were no curfews, passes, checkpoints, and social distancing, Sunday was a day that we all looked forward to. It was a day when everyone was absolutely vacant and free to spend their day with family and friends. However, because of the limitations brought about by the quarantine, all the other days have become just like Sunday. Be it a Monday or a Thursday, everyone’s home with nothing to do.

So here’s 3 ways to bring back the sparkle of the seventh day of the week while staying at home this quarantine!

# 1 Clean Together

A house becomes a home because of the people living in it—people who live together who loves and cares for each other. When the home is clean, everyone in the household feels bright and happy. If going to the mall to shop and dine was what gathered the whole family around before the quarantine, try gathering the family around now and assign different areas of the house to different members of the family.

Clean the bedrooms, disinfect the common areas, review your belongings and see if there are stuff that you could give up and donate or throw away. This way, everyone gets to be busy and contribute in keeping your home clean and safe. Perhaps mom’s delicious home-cooked meal could be the reward!

# 2 Catch Up

If it weren’t for the quarantine, you would all be occupied with work and other responsibilities. This quarantine is the perfect opportunity for all of you to check up on one another and bond. There’s nothing more special than being around your loved ones, sharing insights and stories, goals and dreams, or just random thoughts and ideas that come to mind. Aside from bonding with the family, it allows all of you to reconnect with your own selves.

# 3 Try Something New

The best way to spice up your Sunday is by trying to do something the family has never done before. Here’s a really fun and exciting suggestion:

On Sunday, switch roles in the family. Mom and Ate could exchange roles while Dad and Kuya switches too. Or Mom and Dad could switch places and spend Sunday doing each other’s chores. Imagine how funny it would be to spend a day being someone else in the family and getting to realize all your strengths, weaknesses, quirks, and whatnot. Do share and let us know how it goes!

At the end of the day, what matters most is that the whole family is safe and healthy. Let’s all keep ourselves and our homes clean, safe, and strong!

Full Sublimation Basketball Jersey vs. Not

Full Sublimation Jersey vs Not

It has been that for many years, team uniforms are made by putting together different pieces of fabric and designing them through screen printing and heat transfer options. A basic jersey is customized with logos, player numbers and names which has outgrown many amazing players for years. Recently, a new generation of sportswear customization has taken over the market.

Full Sublimation Printing has been practiced by many apparel service providers for the past 2-3 years. It’s the process of dying the entire design directly onto the fabric. It has opened up a whole new world of options for all sports enthusiasts. These days, many customers have at least heard of the sublimation process and understood some of the benefits, but there’s still a lot of mystery out there. Here are some things you might want to know about Full Sublimation:

The only limit is your imagination
Compared to the traditional jersey making procedure through screen printing and heat transfer options where you can only customize player numbers and names, in full sublimation printing, possibilities are limitless. All you need to have is knowledge in editing, designing and preparing your layout, and you are good to go. You are assured that whatever design you have prepared will be the same as what will be printed, for as long as you have a dependable printer too.

Faster Turnaround time
As soon as you already have a design, you just have to make a layout of it using patterns for whatever apparel you desire and print it to a plain white fabric. For traditional jerseys however, it is necessary to cut fabrics in colors and shapes you need to complete the design. Not only that this is time consuming, the results may also vary. Most often than not, designers will have to stick to conventional and easier graphics to get best results.

Finish Product is More Lightweight
It is surely a convenience to be wearing something that is light and comfortable. Full sublimation jerseys is a joy to behold. Since it is made up of just one layer of fabric, it is assured to be lightweight compared to traditional jerseys. Combis are made primarily of layers and assorted cuts of fabric which means more weight but amazing texture.

Better Quality Prints
We have already mentioned that in Sublimation Printing your imagination is the only limit. Depending on the printer you have, it can be assured that whatever designs you wish to achieve can be successfully transfered to the fabric in minutes. This process doesn’t only take the anxiety of thinking whether the design is achievable or not but it also will save you time.

We are in an era where everything is almost always possible. Now that the competition is tight between service providers, everyone is thinking of ways to be on top of the game. Be it Full Sublimation Jerseys or traditional Combis, one thing is for sure: Sportswear is no longer limited to athletes; it has evolved as everyday casual clothing. The question is, are we out of the old and in with the new?Facebooktwitter
